Don't mean to sound like a crazy kook...but mind reading technology exists and is getting sophisticated?

how does it make you feel knowing that people with access to the technology can read the thoughts of someone who doesn't? i am afraid nothing will be secret anymore....its a good thing and a bad thing. we can catch murderers and get precise intell but....everyone will know what everyone is thinking and that would kinda suck.
