If I feel unattractive could that make me unattracted to my bf?

I have been so insecure lately and just feel hideous! For some reason I just don't like kissing or having sex with my boyfriend unless I've been drinking. We still cuddle and do massages but its just gotten weird. Could my insecurity be part of the reason? We have been together for 5yrs now .
